I regard having knowledge of the client’s objectives and wider strategy to be fundamental to successful delivery. An appreciation for communication, combined with an intelligent and creative approach to production, has helped me build great trust with those who employ me. The projects I have worked on often involved teams, budgets and schedules that were both large and complex; it was extremely satisfying to orchestrate all these complexities to ensure the project’s output exceeded all expectations.
My events career started when I was studying at Cambridge University, where I led the management committee of the Trinity College May Ball. After graduation, I spent a year abroad, developing valuable communication skills while working as an English teacher. On returning to London, I rapidly worked my way up the ranks of two agencies, where I gained a great breadth of experience working across multiple disciplines. Four years as a freelancer followed, working for leading agencies in delivering some of their most important events. My current role at WRG combines an executive role in delivery with line management of the London office's ten-strong production team.
