I have been in the field of Telecom since 1990. I first started in the early days of Prepaid phone cards before the average consumer knew what a phone card was. In 1992, I was a partner in a company called 'US 800 Services' and we were the Master distributor for a phone card called the 'TLC Card'. This card was unique from all the others ever put into the market because it rated the calls by mileage and charged various lower prices that beat every other prepaid card. We were the largest distributors in NYC. I left this company in 1994 and joined a Public Company called DigiTec and we began to distribute another winning prepaid card called the 'Travel Phone Card'. This card held dominance in the market from 1995 to early 1997 because it offered rates that were 'under water' After this cards demise I designed a card for DigiTec called the 'F/X Card'. However, I was forced to leave this company because of a stock dispute and In 1997 I started with a company called Telx as their Director of Marketing. Although they were supposed to be a phone card manufacturer, I turned the company into a co-location company. Today Telx is the largest co-location facility at 60 Hudson Street and has Co-location facilities throughout the USA. I resigned from telx in 1999 to start my own company, Colo Central Corporation. This company changed its name in 2004 to Colo Network Corporation. While operating Colo Network I took over another company in 2007 specializing in Hosting and Data services called SurfXpress. I operated both companies separately, but in the middle of 2010, I sold my interests in the co-location and hosting businesses to focus on Voice Traffic. With my interest in voice telephony I also started a CLEC in New York City called Barr Tell USA. I sold Barr Tell USA to a Hosted PBX Company called Telebroad, where I am the VP.
