I am an experienced interdisciplinary systems engineer with deep understanding of business and corporate processes surrounding the projects. In my professional career I’ve dealt with many fields from pure software to heavy metal machining, from deep physics to high level product definitions. In my recent positions I’ve gained significant experience in marketing, support, sales, regulatory and cultural issues and the intricacies of negotiations. I’ve learned to understand what the customer’s real needs are and how to emphasize my company product advantages vs. the competition. I am familiar with state-of-the-art (and some beyond) systems engineering practices and have been examining and driving the application of groundbreaking technologies, such as AI, Machine Learning, and Analytics, to engineering.
I am passionate about engineering and the impact that novel information technologies are having in the field. I believe that it a couple of decades we will be able to build things that we have never imagined, because of the intelligent tools that are being invented today. And I am thankful to be a part of that.
I am also an industry guy, having spent most of my career in Aerospace and Defense. I've been on most sides of this complex ecosystem, as a government customer, as a prime contractor, as a small business player, as a tool vendor, as an engineer, as a manager, and as a researcher. I believe that I due to that experience I have a unique holistic understanding of this industry and others that share common features with it.
I am a team player, always striving to know the best abilities of my colleagues and to use them to the project’s advantage. I like what I do and make a point in knowing things about my environment beyond those required by my current role.
I am always interested to get in touch with like minded people to discuss and contribute to the technical or industry subjects of my interest. Please feel free to reach out.
