I am the Program Assistant for the Jericho Foundation, a 501(c)3 non-profit on a mission to restore hope in Bosnia and Herzegovina, one child at a time. In this role, I am responsible for donor-student communications, social media presence, and research development for our international education program. I have coordinated all media relations for our annual fundraiser bringing in 400+ attendees, planned and executed semi-annual social media campaigns earning $10,000+ each, and have been traveling to Bosnia three times a year to instruct leadership retreats for college students. Most recently, I moved Bosnia for 4 months expanding into the local community, creating partnerships, and conducting research to asses the efficiency and content of our programs.
I am truly passionate about my work and always eager to learn more about how the non-profit sector coincides with political institutions. While I enjoy all aspects of my job, I think my favorite part is working with individuals. Whether it is one of our scholarship recipients, a local of the Bosnian Community, or a donor, I love gaining new perspectives and broadening our views. People are my passion, and everything I do stems from that.
I am currently pursing a Masters of International Development Administration at Western Michigan University where I also earned my B.A. in Political Science, minored in Non-Profit Leadership and Spanish.
I am always interested in hearing from individuals exploring and working in similar fields. Feel free to contact me if you'd like to connect!
