I focus on investing in tech companies founded by Israelis wherever they're located. I also run the Social Internet Fund which invested in the primary and secondary shares of rapidly growing social media and mobile companies.
I previously had a nice run as Wall Street's first private company analyst at Wedbush where I met hundreds of amazing CEOs and got to write about Facebook, LinkedIn and hundreds of other rapidly scaling tech comapnies.
I started my career as a securities analyst following media companies at Merrill Lynch & Goldman Sachs. In 2000, I went to work for Bill Gross at idealab! as CEO of The .tv Corporation, which commercialized the top level domain .tv. .tv was acquired by Verisign in 2002. Then, with one of the original founders, we acquired Bolt Media, a leading social networking site that grew to over 20 million monthly uniques.
I started blogging about social media in early 2010 on my site SecondShares.com, My research report valuing facebook at $100 billion in early 2010 lead to my return to Wall Street.
