Matthew is passionate around the different business models, platforms and solutions in the convergence of brand marketing, media, and mobile. He is highly creative and never likes to leave a problem unsolved.
Presently, his main focus revolves around the founding and operating of ResponsiveAds, Inc. (Sprint-TechStars 2016), that culminated from his 3 decades of product, mobile, advertising and media business experience.
He is a long-time mobile industry leader (12 years at Nokia Corp), product innovator (8 years at Sony). He has over a decade of mobile marketing, advertising, and web technology experience with a driving mission to re-imagine the cross-screen creative and engagement marketing process. One of his career highlights that set his latest venturing in motion included running and architecting Nokia's global mobile search and advertising business between 2003~2007.
At Nokia, he was known as an intrapreneur/change-agent that developed and ran the 1st mobile music program ($30M USD P&L), the 1st integrated location-based mapping solution ($5M USD P&L), the 1st phone program in Nokia-Japan as well as the head of operations for Nokia's foray into the game business. While at the helm of the search business and strategy his team managed syndicated deals with over 30 different IYP 's globally, Baidu, Google, Microsoft, Yahoo, Yandex and a location-based advertising program with Tribune's AMNY Newspaper in New York City and with De Telefoongids in the Netherlands
From 2007~2012, Matthew started and ran his own strategic agency called, ADObjects, Inc. (Analog.Digital.Objects) with some notable clients and projects such as Alcatel-Lucent, Bing, Coachella, CBS, Dentsu, Grouse Mountain, IAB, LGFashionWeek, Mixi, Mobility Ventures, Nikkei Publications, and MXMEvents. Matthew and team were early into the Responsive Web Design movement and started ResponsiveAds in January 2012. He is presently living back-n-forth between New York City and Vancouver, Canada.
