I build and invest in innovative online and mobile businesses. I’m interested in mobile media, ecommerce and socially-driven marketplaces.
I’ve spent my career growing businesses ranging from early stage start-ups to private equity backed assets to public media companies.
Currently a cofounder and the CEO of Science Inc., where we bring together the best ideas, talent, resources and financing through a centralized platform. We grow and fund businesses that change the way people discover and buy brands (Dollar Shave Club), reshape how content is created and shared (Wishbone), and create economic efficiencies through marketplaces (Famebit, DogVacay).
Previously I was the CEO of Myspace, responsible for one of the most high-profile turn-around challenges in the industry, and its ultimate sale to Specific Media on behalf of NewsCorp.
I’ve founded, advised, invested and sold numerous businesses returning $500M in successful outcomes for investors, including application platform Userplane (acquired by AOL), Tsavo Media, Movoxx, PeopleMedia and Brizzly.
Active early stage investor in over 30 startup businesses including Klout, Betterworks, Formspring, ShoeDazzle and LunchMoney to name a few.
